CerTIMF Research Center

Within the Department of Computer Science, Information Technology, Mathematics and Physics, the CerTIMF Research Center is established, in which research projects are carried out with the involvement of teachers, students and masters of coordinated specializations. The director of the CerTIMF Research Center is Assoc. Prof. PhD. Zoran CONSTANTINESCU.

Research Center in Literary Studies, Linguistics, Critical Theory and Culture

The Research Center in Literary Studies, Linguistics, Critical Theory and Culture offers resources and a favorable framework for conducting scientific research in the field of Humanities (Philology, Cultural Studies, Philosophy, Theology). In addition to the research activity, subsumed to the objectives of the Research Program of the Petroleum-Gas University of Ploiești and those of the Strategic and Operational Plan of the Faculty of Letters and Sciences, the center offers specialized assistance in implementing research results, organizes scientific seminars, conferences, sessions, colloquia, debates, exchanges of experience and other scientific events, contribute to the improvement of the book fund for the mentioned sub-domains, carry out activities of elaboration, printing and distribution of publications, organize cultural events, exhibitions and book launches.

Center for Legal and Socio-Administrative Studies and Research (CSCJSA)

The Center for Legal and Socio-Administrative Studies and Research is a research structure, without legal personality, established within the Petroleum-Gas University of Ploiești by the decision of the University Senate no. 810 of April 4, 2013.

The center aims to carry out fundamental and applied research in the field of legal, social sciences, European issues and in the field of public administration.

The Center for Legal and Socio-Administrative Studies and Research has organized regular scientific conferences dedicated to teachers and researchers, organized each time in collaboration with several partners, universities, prestigious research centers, professional associations.

The Center for Legal and Socio-Administrative Studies and Research is actively involved in organizing scientific seminars, meetings with economic and social partners, book launches, etc., with an important impact on academia.

The quality of Director of the Center is held by Assoc. Prof. PhD. Mihai Cristian Apostolache.

At the same time, the Center publishes the Journal of Law and Administrative Sciences (www.jolas.ro), a journal indexed in four international databases (EBSCO, HeinOnline, CEEEOL, SSRN).
